“I…” Leon was about to answer Fletcher’s question when Howard interrupted the conversation.
“Fletcher do you know this kid?” Howard was slightly taken aback that Fletcher knew such a criminal.
“Yeah! Mister Wolf is from the southern region…” Fletcher nodded and was about to inform the others
who Leon was when he noticed something was off.
Leon wore the mask when he came to help with the mission of eliminating the Poisonwielder which
meant he did not wish to have his identity exposed.
If he informed everyone that Leon was a Platinum Dragon Guard it may not be appropriate.
Hence he immediately stopped himself from continuing.
“Mister Caldicot it doesn’t matter if you two know each other! This man committed murder and robbery!
You aren’t going to protect him just because you know him right?”
The Feaks spoke anxiously.
Howard was about to eliminate Leon and avenge the dead. To their surprise Leon actually knew
Fletcher.
Instantly they did not know what to think.
Judging from the excited look on Fletcher’s face they all sensed that Fletcher was rather close with
Leon so they were worried if Fletcher would protect Leon because of that.
If the Dragon Guards were on Leon’s side Leon may be able to evade punishment and this was hardly
what the Feaks wanted.
“Fletcher they are right! This kid has taken innocent lives. He cannot be forgiven. You can’t just protect
him simply because you know him. Get out of the way now. I will need to serve him justice on behalf of
the Feaks!” Howard said righteously.
“Thank you Howard!”
The Feaks were relieved to hear this.
At first they were worried that Howard may side with Leon because Fletcher had a personal
connection with Leon.
However Howard was just and promised to uphold justice on the Feaks’ behalf which reassured them.
“Well…” Fletcher was instantly rendered speechless.
Though Leon had once saved his life it was the Dragon Guards’ duty to uphold the good and punish
the bad. If Leon had truly committed murder and robbery he could not possibly protect Leon.
However he soon realized something was off.
After spending time with Leon he could tell that Leon was a righteous and virtuous man. On top of that
Leon was a Platinum Dragon Guard so there was no reason for him to commit such horrible crimes.
