After leaving the villa Leon and Renee were about to head to the parking lot when they ran into Ariella and Jacob rushing toward them.
“Ariella? Did you and Jacob leave ahead of us? Why are you still around here?” Renee was surprised to see them.
“Renee hush! We were about to leave but we spotted Felton in the parking lot. He’s been waiting there. I think he’s upto no good. You two need to be careful!” Ariella said in a low voice.
Leon challenged Felton multiple times during the bouquet and Felton seemed determined to stay in the parking lot.
Ariella instantly guessed that Felton was waiting for Leon to come outside.
Leon just helped her past the barrier to the Overlord State with the Advanced Pure Energy
Pill and she was grateful.
Hence she turned back around to warn Leon so that he would not walk into Felton’s trap.
“What? Felton is still around? Oh no he probably wants to hurt Hugh. We’re in trouble!”
Renee was shocked.
She refused to leave Leon behind precisely because she was worried about Felton targeting Leon. To her surprise what she expected was exactly what happened.
Felton was lingering in the parking lot and planning to hurt Leon.
During the bouquet Felton refrained from harming Leon because the alchemical pills Leon presented gained the support of Jensen and the others.
Felton was outnumbered and had no appropriate excuse so he could not harm Leon or he would be condemned by everyone else.
However with the bouquet ending most of the guests left and without them here to support Leon Felton no longer had any concerns.
“Yeah! Renee Felton’s formidable amongst the younger generation. If you two head to the parking lot and run into him who knows what would happen?” Ariella said worriedly.
She did not know what Leon was capable of but she knew that Leon was merely the vice president of Cynthion Group. He was not a descendent of any powerful family and considering how young he was it was normal to assume that he was not that strong.
Felton on the other hand was the eldest son of the Fermers and one of the brightest martial artists in the younger generation. He long reached the Intermediate Emperor State and it was hardly an exaggeration to say that no one else apart from Hugo could defeat
Felton.
Leon who had no backers would suffer a horrible fate if he was caught by Felton.
