“No matter when I come here I never get tired of it.”
Abel said to himself. He was walking on the earth which was completely white. It was a world where giants lived. An empty cold wind reminiscent of winter in the slums was brushing my cheek.
In a world where even a single grain of sand was white color was nowhere to be found. Nebula Clage’s headquarters was decorated somewhat similarly but it still couldn’t compare to the original.
When he raised his head he saw a white sky. In the clouds that tightly covered the stars a huge magic circle was disappearing and appearing repeatedly. It was a passage used by giants leaving or returning from hunting.
I’m busy too. It was the car that Lin Abel recited and took his steps again. A low deep voice rang out from above his head.
『You who were born into mortality. How dare you come here?』
『Stop your blasphemous steps.』
“Ah… of course.”
Abel knelt down on one knee and raised his head. Two giants were looking down at him from directly above. Judging by the fact that they each had four pairs of wings they were not of high status.
Hwaaaaaaa! The wind from the flapping wings was periodically sweeping in all directions. It was a tempest that could crush a human being but Abel was not affected in any way. His translucent body was made of spirit not flesh. One of the giants who was staring at Abel opened her mouth.
『You…are the face in my memory.』
“That’s because you came yesterday too.”
Abel nodded his head. Perhaps because it showed its face periodically it no longer attacked recklessly. He cleared his throat once and spoke as politely as possible.
“I came to see him.”
『What…』
The giants flinched. The already hard surfaces became even harder.
They didn’t say anything for a long time and Abel didn’t particularly urge them. Abel knew that the giants were communicating with the being they called ‘Him’.
‘Share your senses. It’s so convenient.’
Abel waited in silence with his head bowed. In the silence that lasted longer than she expected she heard a voice that she would not normally have recognized.
-Help me.
-I didn’t do anything wrong!
-Please take it out…please….
It was a small sound like a whisper. The languages were all different but the meaning was understandable. The screams of countless people were being heard from within the bodies of the giants.
Abel knew that it was the voice of the souls killed by the giant. Although he became one with the great race and enjoyed eternal life he did not seem to be very happy.
Abel smiled bitterly at her. Soon those remaining on earth would meet a similar fate. Of course my situation is very different from theirs. At that time one of the silent giants spoke.
『Go back. He doesn’t want to see you.』
“…is it today too?”
Abel’s frown narrowed. She was as excited as expected but she still didn’t feel very good about being rejected. He continued.
“Please don’t say that again just say it one more time. “I’m struggling to give you a whole star so don’t you mind doing me that little favor?”
『I won’t say it twice. Go back.』
Suddenly the two giants stretched out their hands at the same time. Particles of light began to gather inside the pure white grasp. Anyway these bald guys couldn’t communicate. Abel who was watching her sighed deeply.
“I don’t know why it’s such a difficult request to ask to see your face at least once. I can assure you that if you come here looking down on my motherhood you will be in trouble.”
『You are arrogant. Mortals cannot defeat us.』
“Then who are the four people who recently passed away from our planet?”
『What…』
The speechless giants fell silent. Abel slowly raised her head. His eyes no longer belonged to someone making a servile request. Now was the time to make a deal.
“Why are you scared?”
Abel sneered. It was a moment when one corner of his mouth turned up with a smirk. Kwasik! A spear of light flew from somewhere and pierced Abel’s back.
“Ugh….”
Abel took a deep breath. It was so fast you couldn’t even see it. As he barely followed the trajectory and raised his head the sight of the sky swirling above him caught his eye.
‘That’s it.’
It was a huge vortex that seemed to envelop the entire star. There was a black hole in the center where the spear fell. Abel instinctively noticed that something was looking down at him from beyond.
Pot! The moment he was about to say something his vision went black. Abel opened his eyes again and raised his upper body as if bouncing.
“Huh…!”
His head felt dizzy. He was sitting alone in a secret room. It was a secret room located in the headquarters. It seemed that the mental body disappeared and the consciousness returned to the original body.
“You have a bad temper.”
Abel stood up. Her whole body was drenched in cold sweat. She still vividly felt the sensation that had pierced her heart. A magic circle was drawn at his feet to communicate with the world of giants.
‘You took the bait.’
Abel who was scratching her chest smiled. The stupid bald guys didn’t do the favor in the end but it didn’t matter anymore. It was definitely ‘him’ who threw the spear of light in the end.
I’ve done everything I could here. The rest was up to his few remaining men and Iril.
Suddenly memories of the past passed before my eyes. Looking back I lived my life following Cain and cutting down many enemies. From barbaric nomadic tribes to the mechanical armies of the Dainhar Empire. He adjusted the sheath on his belt and left the room.
“Would you like to see how much I’ve improved?”
****
“Stop surrendering now!”
Marya shouted. She came forward and swung her great sword sideways. Her blade was longer and thicker than her body and was the same red as Ronan’s blood.
“You insolent bitch!”
“Do we look that funny!”
The believers who had been fighting to the death on the castle wall rushed in with fury. Even though Marya’s spirit was good she couldn’t penetrate their armor and shield.
Kang! It was the moment when they raised their shields and took a defensive stance. The great sword dug in without stopping cutting straight through the waist of the believers. The man who had lost the sensation below his solar plexus was bewildered.
“uh?”
“It looks funny!”
Marya shouted again. Believers with only the upper body remaining fell to the floor. Kwaaaaang! The slash flew without stopping and collided with the watchtower next to it. The watchtower whose base was cut off by the blow collapsed beneath the castle wall.
“It’s a monster!”
“What kind of power is that…”
Shock erupted from everywhere. The plate armor she was wearing didn’t show even a scratch even during the fierce battle. The armor shimmering with the colors of polar light was something Ronan had brought back from Aurora Skaar some time ago.
Armed with her heavy armor and greatsword Marya proudly cut through the enemy troops at the forefront. When she turned her head she saw Braum fighting while protecting his allies. bang! After blocking Branch Leader Puran’s mace he struck the shield with the back of his sword and shouted.
“That’s all! Try harder!”
“How dare you say your mouth is open…!”
Furan was furious and even used his Aura to swing his mace. A much more powerful blow than before came but Braum blocked it brilliantly. Sigh! In the end a soldier in Puran’s corner pierced his waist with a spear.
“Wow!”
Puran fell forward spitting blood from his mouth. At the same time five or six spears rained down on his body. After confirming that the enemies of the outer castle had been eliminated Braum turned to Marya and shouted.
“This is over!”
“Here too!”
Marja replied. The voices of two loud people rang loudly. They managed to break through even the last fortress and were eliminating internal resistance forces along with the Allied Forces. Looking outside the walls eight fortresses that had already fallen came into view.
“…I did it.”
It was a scene filled with emotions. Eight Allied flags were fluttering above the high walls. Orsay and the Shadow Prince were roaming the sky shooting down the remaining artificial giants. Asher’s voice rang from not far away.
“Everyone must pay for their sins!”
“…cutie.”
Marja blushed with shame. It didn’t take long for him to realize how arrogant his declaration before the battle that he would protect Asher was.
Asher was riding on Orsay’s back and was shooting huge ice thorns in all directions. The magic strengthened by Erzsebet’s aura was much more powerful than usual.
【Gagging!】
【Aaaah!】
Sigh! Sigh! The giants hit by the unmelting ice were falling vomiting blood. Usually they died in one hit and no one could survive more than three hits. Orsay who had transformed into a dragon burst into laughter.
【Hahaha! That’s it a killing machine!】
“Hehehe! “Don’t fly too fast!”
Asher let out a terrifying scream. Marja laughed. The adventures I have had so far and the learning I have done at Phileon were not in vain.
I also have to work harder. It was the moment when she gathered her thoughts and turned her body. Multiple screams rang out from deep within the fortress.
“The morning star of my empire is coming!”
“Flee to Bo Castle! “Hang the door and lock it!”
All the believers who had been fighting to the death were retreating to Naeseong. Their once solemn faces could now only be seen as fear and despair.
Marja looked in the direction they had run and opened her eyes wide. Hell was unfolding. The number of torn bodies was countless. Obviously there was nothing like that until a little while ago.
“Schlieffen.”
Marya knew that those neat cuts were all marks of Schlieffen’s storm sword. It was no exaggeration to say that he was the person who committed the most killings today. Schlieffen was running towards the sanctuary trampling a path of corpses that he had created.
The pale rod held in his left hand was scattering cool blue light. Every time he hit the floor the gap was rapidly narrowing.
“Close! Close it! “Close it!”
“Don’t let them in!”
The believers were screaming like they were children. Rumbling…! The inner gate was closing at a rapid pace. The specially designed gate was something that required considerable effort on the Allied side to destroy.
“Oh no!”
However Schlieffen managed to get inside just before the door closed. thud! The moment he entered the inner room the gate closed.
“Ugh!”
“Please save me!”
A more desperate scream began to sound. The sound of the wind blowing could be heard mixed in between them. Even the advancing Allied Forces stopped and swallowed their saliva.
“…!”
Then at some point the screaming stopped. No voices could be heard from inside the gate anymore. One soldier opened his mouth.
“Is it over…?”
No answer came back. The soldiers exchanged glances and took steps forward. Quaaaaaaaaa! The ceiling of the inner room shattered and a huge tornado rose up.
“Huh oh oh!”
“You’re crazy…!”
The whirlwind made up of sharp winds seemed to be dozens of meters in diameter. Debris from the building and torn bodies were scattered everywhere.
A seal rose from the center of the whirlwind. widely! Schlieffen who landed on the highest watchtower shouted at the top of his voice.
“Navardose! “It’s all done!”
It was a voice so loud that it was hard to believe it came from the always quiet Schlieffen. The shout that spread throughout the battlefield reached Navardose who was waiting.
【Confirmed.】
The star’s protection that blocked the headquarters of the fortresses was disappearing. Navarro nodded his head. Between her open mouth was a ball of fire so hot and bright that she believed it was a small sun.
Now is the time. She exhaled for the first time in Navarre where she had been inhaling all along. A sphere of flame was launched towards the Pale Castle.
