Episode 1221
Arendia was persistent.
Most of my memories were erased when I moved to this world but there was only one name that remained in my mind.
Sigmund Ahandel.
‘Sigmund Ahandel Sigmund Ahandel!’
Gritting her teeth she hooked the rake in her hand to the wall of the prison tower and pulled her body up with all the strength of her legs.
Her toenails were bleeding and her knees were shaking but she didn’t stop.
‘I’ll definitely meet you!’
Up!
Finally she reached the only window on the upper floors of the prison tower.
Soon she placed both arms on her window and pulled her body up one big time.
“Sigh! Haha!”
She continued to breathe heavily and soon spread her palms and used her special ability.
Her Arendia’s ability is to mix her own divinity with fat to create a metal that melts in the sun but is easy to process.
She made a long piece of wire at once put it through the crack in the window and then moved the end of the wire so that it touched the window handle.
Sweet!
The window was opened.
However the window was so small that the lower half of my body got caught while passing through. She whimpered and grabbed her wall with both hands and barely managed to pull her body out.
Uddangtangtang!
As soon as she got to her bottom she fell. Breathe! She lifted her head and took a deep breath.
‘Wo here…!’
It appears to be somewhere inside a prison.
Fortunately there don’t seem to be any guards guarding this area.
The entire city is in a civil war and most of the guards have escaped to fight the revolutionary army. Now is our only chance to save Sigmund.
With great difficulty she raised her body and began to walk slowly.
“Amazing! “You’re thinking of coming in through that narrow window.”
Wow!
Arendia let out a small scream at the sudden sound of a third person’s voice but quickly covered her mouth with both hands.
The one smiling in the darkness of the prison was a heterogeneous person with a raccoon face. Her plump brown fur swayed through her jumpsuit. He looked old but he had wrinkles and a beard.
Shhh!
Arendia raised her hand to her index finger making a gesture for the world to shut up. A raccoon man in a prison uniform stroked her chin.
“Don’t worry. “Now that the young woman has shown me the sight she has just enjoyed she will not call the jailer.”
‘What does this perverted raccoon man say?’
She approached holding her throbbing forehead. She wanted to hit him but she persevered.
“I’m looking for someone.”
“I don’t know who the young woman and child are climbing up to such a high place and looking for so obsessively… hehe! “He is a very envious man.”
“good bye.”
“Wait wait wait!”
As Arendia tried to leave the raccoon prisoner came close and clung to the cage.
“Just tell me who you’re looking for! “Maybe I can help?”
“Sigmund Ahandel.”
She spat out the name she had remembered tens of thousands of times. The prisoner’s expression became strange.
“Who is that?”
“good bye.”
As she tried to leave again she heard the raccoon prisoner yell ‘Wait a minute!’ He shouted urgently and clung to the iron cage.
“I am the unification tax of all who have been imprisoned in this prison for 40 years! If I don’t know someone the other prisoners don’t either! Perhaps the name is not known! “Can you tell me about your appearance or impressions?”
Arendia muttered thinking with a serious expression. Then she started making shapes in the air with both her hands as if she was touching clay.
“Does your face feel a bit round? Ah but the chin looks sharp. The eyebrows also seem to be a bit dark. If you look closely you look like a young boy but if you look from a distance you look dependable and it would be nice to have a little dimple when you smile….”
“I’m not talking about your ideal type but the face of a man named Sigmund!”
“Actually I don’t know. “I’ve never met you.”
“?”
For a moment a thick silence fell in the prison.
“…You risked your life and came to the prison tower to meet someone you didn’t know?”
“That’s it.”
Arendia laughed bitterly.
Even if she thinks about it she seems a little crazy.
“Is there any other information?”
“Both Sigmund and I came to this world just recently. “Hieromir has placed a large sum of money.”
“ah!”
Old Man Raccoon clapped his hands as if someone remembered something.
“I’m sure! “The boy who lost his shining sword and is imprisoned!”
“!”
Apparently Lethe said that Sigmund’s second name was ‘Holy Sword User’. She rushed in and grabbed hold of the iron bars of her prison.
“I’m sure it’s the boy!”
“I know where he is.”
The raccoon prisoner whose demeanor suddenly changed calmly pretended to lie down on the floor.
“But nothing is free in The City! “If you get me out of here I’ll let you know.”
‘I knew so.’
I was unlucky but I didn’t have time to measure everything. After checking the hallway outside her to make sure her guards were not nearby she put her hands together and wiggled as if she was creating something.
“What are you doing wife?”
“Just wait a moment.”
She instantly formed a piece of metal in the palm of her hand and placed it on the floor quickly creating something. It was a giant pincer-like machine and after fixing her pincers to one side of the iron cage she activated it by infusing her divinity into it causing the gear-like gears inside the machine to turn.
Then.
Wood-dud-dud-deuk!
The iron bars were easily pulled out barely big enough for one person to pass through. Old Man Raccoon escaped from prison with a sigh.
“What a feat!”
“Now tell me.”
Old Man Raccoon pointed upward.
“That boy Sigmund is considered a vicious level 1 wanted criminal and is in the highest place in this prison.”
“How can I get there?”
“It’s an emergency right now so there aren’t many guards but the top of the prison will be tightly guarded. Even if you take down the guards by force all the guards downstairs will come up. “There is only one way to get there without being caught!”
Old Man Raccoon stretched out his arm out the window.
“Go out the window again and climb up to the roof! When I was young I escaped from prison through the roof and one part of the roof was loose! If you apply force with your hand there will be an audible ‘pop’ sound. “You can sneak inside through that gap!”
“Thank you so much! “What about you old man?”
“I’m going to go down here through the window and escape. “I hope you find him!”
Arendia relaxed her shoulders with a determined look on her face.
I was a little tired from coming all the way up here so I wanted to rest but it was a waste of time. I was planning on going straight to rescue Sigmund.
“….”
However the raccoon man who said he was escaping was standing in front of the window then stepped back with a smile on his face and gave up the window.
“Would you like to leave first? “Woman.”
“I’m going to kill you really.”
Gradually the timid nature disappeared and Arendia’s original personality was coming out.
Anyway the raccoon old man escaped out the window first and Arendia also whined and came out the window again and climbed the wall.
She’s come this far but she can’t give up now.
Because she had the know-how to climb up the wall and was motivated enough she reached the roof much faster than expected.
The roof of the prison tower was like a normal house but in the process of grabbing and shaking each piece I could see some really loose parts.
As she put her fingers into the gap and lifted it up.
Crash!
One side of the roof was lifted along with the sound of bricks being ground. Arendia smiled looked down at her and listened to her.
‘I don’t pretend to be popular.’
She landed lightly falling through a hole in the roof. The floor just below the roof where there is a chilly air.
She heard the guards down the hallway from her and formed a magic circle.
As expected from her major in Guardianship she placed a sound-blocking barrier and a light-distorting barrier in front of the hallway and finally felt relieved and walked toward the prison at the far end.
There was no one at the top perhaps because it was a place where the most vicious level 1 wanted criminals were imprisoned. Because food was scarce in The City they tended to execute wanted criminals rather than imprison them.
And then the last of them all.
I saw a boy locked in an iron cage.
‘ah.’
The boy in his prison uniform looked haggard and thin but his eyes were alive.
It even seemed like he looked similar at first glance to the ideal type he described earlier. Arendia’s heart was pounding violently.
‘This is him!’
“Who… is there?”
The boy groaned and straightened his posture.
“How many times have I said that I don’t know anything…”
“I am not a jailer. “We’ve put up a soundproof barrier so you won’t be able to hear us from over there.”
As Arendia said she sat down with her knees on the floor in front of the caged boy.
His heart beats harder. I become even more confident.
“You are Sigmund right?”
The boy’s eyes widened rapidly.
“How do you know me? No way you too…!”
“Yes I’m from the same world and continent as you.”
She added with a smile.
“This is why I came to save you.”
Sigmund stretched out his trembling hand beyond the iron bars. Then she grabbed her face and lightly stroked it.
“Do you remember me? “I… lost my memory.”
“Me too. “It was only after I saw the ID card in my arms that I realized who I was.”
“Oh that one that says ‘Rune League’? I had it too at first. “Everything was confiscated when I got here.”
The two people who agreed that they had lost their memories laughed.
“I can’t think of anything about the original world but there is one name that comes to mind.”
She continued looking the boy in the eye.
“Sigmund Ahandel.”
Finally emotion appeared on the boy’s face. He took her hand and spoke in a voice that made her seeth with emotion.
“It’s a coincidence. “I have lost my memories of my previous world but I remember one person’s name.”
When Arendia heard those words her heart began to pound as if it would explode.
A very romantic and dream-like situation.
The moment Sigmund opens his mouth. Arendia stretched out her hand and placed it on her lips.
“Now wait a minute. “I was so nervous.”
“ha ha ha!”
She placed a hand on her chest took a few deep breaths and smiled awkwardly.
“Shall we say three at the same time?”
“Sounds like fun.”
Their hearts began to pound as if they would burst.
“one.”
Arendia said.
“two.”
Sigmund said.
“three!”
They took a deep breath and shouted their names at the same time.
“Arendia!”
“Jay-Z!”
for a moment.
A quiet and awkward wind blew through the prison.
“…Jay-Z? “Who is she?”
She said in a cold cold voice as she pulled away her hand that was being held by Sigmund.
She began to take refuge in the shelter of her mind feeling the iron bars of her mind clanking down.
“Now wait a minute!”
Sigmund also had a look of confusion on his face.
“Aren’t you Jay-Z?”
“This is Arendia Orvalo.”
“The one I was waiting for was Jay-Z… but who are you? “Why did you come here?”
Quick!
A sinew appeared on her forehead.
Argh!
She let out an annoyed scream and huffed. Memories of climbing this tower with such difficulty and constantly recalling Sigmund Ahandel’s name in case I forgot it passed through my mind.
Her face turned red with anger and shame.
‘She had a crush!’
In the end unable to overcome her shame she placed her forehead on the floor and said “Ugh!” She made noises and was in pain. Sigmund raised her arms with a nervous expression.
“I don’t know who you are but do you know someone named Jay-Z?”
Jump up!
She got up from her seat her face turning red.
Then she turned her back as if she was looking away and walked away.
“no! wait for a sec!”
Sigmund cried out plaintively stretching his arms through his bars.
“I have to get it out of here!”
“Either die there or not!”
The love between the two was long and difficult.
* * *
Same time.
Whioooooooooo!
Simon and Lethe finally reached a position where they could see the transference.
Simon expressed his impressions with a weak smile.
“I didn’t know it would be this bad.”
The City’s huge army stood guard in front of the battlefield.
As many as six aerial battleships capable of shooting coral rays were waiting and the number of ground troops was so numerous that they could not be counted.
“I think they discovered that we were looking for a transference.”
Lethe muttered with a nervous look on her face. Simon stepped forward twirling his arms.
“Let’s think positively. “It means that the burden on the revolutionary team has been reduced as the troops come here.”
“Are you really going to fight?”
“I have to try something.”
Simon currently stationed his legions in The City and due to the damage to the Celestial Golem in the Letedo Rune League time was needed for additional regeneration before he could summon the Divine Beast Legion.
No matter how much the corps commander and the saintly woman were it was inevitably a burden for them to deal with the army alone.
“Take a step back and try to find another solution.”
“No matter how much you think about it there is only one solution.”
Simon opened subspace.
Click! Slam!
Whioooooooo!
Peer’s bones attached to Simon’s body and an intangible cloak settled behind his back. And the great sword of destruction is in his grasp! He was caught with a sound.
“Break through head-on. “The longer we wait the more unfavorable the fight becomes for us.”
Lethe sighed lightly and then smiled.
“I can’t help it. “You have to follow the group.”
“Thank you Lethe.”
The two men prepared for battle.
The City’s soldiers also became noisy as if they had spotted the two people.
‘Let’s throw it into chaos before we get ready. It is advantageous to strike first.’
Soon Simon bends his knees and prepares to charge.
Beep!
Bleep!
The bag I was carrying on my back began to make noises. Simon quickly removed the part protected by the armor and grabbed the bag.
The coordinate device which was always yellow had a green light on.
“That’s it!”
Simon let out an exclamation and Lethe quickly approached.
“What’s going on?”
“The group ended up using the portal! “The coordinates where we are are pointed toward the continent!”
Zzzzzzzzzzzzz!
A distortion of space began to occur where Simon and Lethe were.
The two people stepped back and waited with their hearts pounding.
‘Who will come?’
Although it cannot be compared to the final version of the technology the Portal of Death a small hole opens that has a clear identity as a portal.
Someone appeared inside.
Percussion.
White shoes step on the snowy mountain.
Next a suit as white as snow is revealed and a sharp-looking blond man holding his hat with black gloves appears.
“It’s cold.”
A man designated by the organization as a level 1 dimensional risk factor.
This world is tense and shaken by his appearance.
“Is my existence a blessing or a curse in this world?”
A representative figure of the modern necromancer era.
A crow agent and a professor at Keygen.
A genius among undistinguished geniuses.
“I’m here to help Simon.”
Bahil Amagar crossed space and arrived in White Land.
