Helmut

Episode 94

Xian made a prickly expression.

“What are you talking about! It’s true that something like that… doesn’t happen to me, but it’s a common phenomenon among male students. Because all the attention and affection is focused on Area.

And you can guess, right? “I’m from the same magic department as Area, so I’ve seen him suffer quite a lot.”

“I’ll figure it out on my own. “Isn’t this something that guy is familiar with?”

“Probably not. It seems like a potential agreement has been reached, because there haven’t been many women who have come forward so proactively. “Look at him trying to cross his arms.”

“I said get out of the way.”

Alea’s voice subsided coldly as she shook off the hand reaching out to me.

He was sick of his magic power. This won’t happen once you reach the level where you can completely control your magic, but there’s still a long way to go to that level.

Many people wonder why a man doesn’t cling to them, but when things like this happen, they are caught up in the feeling of a snake tightening its coils around him at the center.

‘Should I use magic?’

After thinking about it, my mind quickly turned to using attack magic.

There is no way to communicate with someone who reacts in such a fanatical way. In this situation, several appropriate attack spells came to mind.

Even if the magic is a bit excessive, it’s okay. To set an example and not kill anyone.

‘To the electric world.’

Just as he was about to act, someone exquisitely stuck his head out from between the girls.

“Hey, Area. Can you see it from here?”

“Oh my, what are you doing!”

“How rude!”

“draft.”

Alea chanted his name.

Sian was not alone. Area’s gaze immediately returned to his roommate with pitch black eyes and hair.

This was not an area where I could ask for help with my mouth. After thinking for a moment, Helmut held out his hand.

“Sorry I’m late.”

It was as if he had decided to see it here. It was improvised, but I think it was pretty well thought out.

Xian stared at Helmut with slightly surprised eyes and agreed.

“I guess you decided to meet Helmut here? “For some reason, this guy said he had to come here.”

“Let’s go quickly.”

Helmut winked. Area pulled herself out from among the girls.

Asuka’s eyes widened as she blocked the girls who were panicking and trying to grab him.

“What you looking at! “I’m going to rip out your eyeballs.”

One of the restrained people covered his mouth with the back of his hand, as if he had witnessed a tragic scene.

“Oh my goodness! “So barbaric.”

“I’m famous for being a bit savage. Would you like to get bitten too?”

“Area, how can you hang out with a guy like that?”

“It doesn’t fit the bill!”

“That guy will tarnish Alea’s reputation!”

Area approached Helmut with a cold face without a trace of laughter.

Asuka couldn’t get over the argument that was directed at her, no matter who the opponent was.

“What kind of guy am I?”

“What kind of guy is this! “Are you saying this because you don’t know?”

“Stop it, Mina! That’s that guy. The beauty of the swordsmanship department…”

“What? “Tell me until the end.”

Asuka grinned like a bully. He was unrivaled in this regard.

Despite his formidable appearance, the girls, who knew of his notoriety, flinched and backed away.

Asuka was the second most famous person in Baden after Area. Completely the opposite way.

That’s how Area joined Helmut’s group.

There are no big, threatening guys, but it’s different than when you’re alone.

With the four of us together, there were no more people approaching us as if it was a burden.

Although the gaze was still pouring. Area, who had calmed down her irritation, glanced at them with an unexpected look.

“What are you doing here? There is no store here worth your money. Did Helmut buy it?”

Asuka frowned.

“Look at what he said when he helped me. “You are so unlucky.”

“admit. “It’s worse than you?”

Even Xian nodded in response, and Area snorted.

“It’s true, right? “I never asked for help.”

“Then let’s say you helped them. “Before you defeat the noble ladies with lightning magic.”

Xian had an accurate understanding of Area.

“Have you been drinking since midday? “It stinks.”

Area frowned. I said he wouldn’t come, but I was glad he didn’t come. I didn’t know what kind of fuss I would have had if I had come.

The tastes of Area that Helmut knew were completely opposite. Nibbling on dessert in a luxurious restaurant with partitions.

“I went to a nice place.”

“So, enough to make you regret not going?”

“It won’t happen, so don’t even dream about it.”

Aarea looked back at Helmut. It looked like he was about to say something.

But his mouth did not open. It probably wasn’t his personality to say thank you, but he seemed to have swallowed it while asking why he helped me.

In fact, it was surprising that Helmut took such initiative. Helmut usually doesn’t care about other people’s business.

However, Area helped Helmut many times. Since he was also my roommate, I somehow couldn’t ignore him.

Helmut took advantage of Asuka and Xian’s loud chatter to throw it.

“This will get rid of my debt, right?”

A debt for treating Asuka. Area has not yet asked for anything in return. He was planning to throw it away, but Area understood it immediately and snorted.

“That sounds like a no-brainer.”

It seems like he has an intention to get something. That’s not easy either. I had an ominous feeling.

Sian gestured.

“Weren’t you trying to buy something? “Let’s go in.”

“If you’re not going to buy it, why are you doing it?”

“I’m not going to buy it, so I’ll stick with you and take a look. It’s a bit weird to just look at something if you’re not going to buy it. “The merchants here are like ghosts.”

“Do whatever you want.”

Somehow, Area joined them and they wandered around the shopping district together.

Aria unexpectedly bought only a notebook and a few writing utensils and closed her wallet.

Asuka sarcastically said.

“I thought he was going to spend a lot of money because he pretended to be so good, but that’s not the case. “I guess I’m a little sloppy.”

“Spending money on anything is something only a thoughtless person like you would do.”

“But this keeps happening!”

“If you’re going to fight, I won’t say no.”

Their gazes met sharply. It’s a fight between a wizard and a swordsman. I was quite interested.

Area is a second-year student in the magic department, and Asuka is the second-year student in the swordsmanship department, the second strongest after Helmut. I wondered which side would win.

Still, unlike Area, who is rational, the problem is that Asuka doesn’t know the extent of it, but I’m confident that I can stop it within an appropriate line.

But no fight took place.

“Stop it. What are you doing on the street like kids? “What will people think of Greta Academy if you two are here fighting and vandalizing property?”

After Sian scolded him, the combative atmosphere calmed down a bit.

Asuka didn’t care about that, but at least Area, who was an honor student, did care.

Xian quickly changed his mind.

“Oh, my head hurts. I guess I’m still drunk. I want to eat ice cream. “There’s a delicious ice cream shop here.”

And Sian made Area buy ice cream for helping them.

The store that made and sold twelve flavors of gelato was very expensive.

It was definitely a burden on the pocketbook of Xian and Asuka, not Helmut, who had been secretly hoarding money.

Sian smiled happily as she scooped up three flavors of ice cream. In the end, the winner was Xian.

“I feel like my pockets have been emptied.”

“It must be an illusion. “For something like that to happen to the world’s Area.”

“The ice cream is delicious.”

Area wasn’t as vicious as I thought. I also bought ice cream for Asuka.

Asuka enjoyed the rare luxury of scooping up ice cream, and her crush on Area grew to this extent.

‘He’s unlucky, but he also has some good qualities.’

That decent corner was scored entirely in the financial department. Sian said with a smile.

“I think I see the benefits of this situation, at least for you, Area.”

“What?”

“Because there are a lot of people going, there is no chance of getting caught. “Because we can’t overwhelm them in numbers.”

Moreover, one of them is the crazy dog of the swordsmanship department. I have no choice but to hesitate.

Area frowned.

“What is that?”

Anyway, this is an advantage. Area has never walked the streets of Baden with anyone other than Helmut. Is that why all the stares are pouring in?

These four people are grouped into one group.

Even though she knew that Helmut didn’t think anything of it and that it was only Xian’s obvious intention, Area felt spooked.

‘That shouldn’t happen.’

It is a separate issue from comfort. It was a wall that had been maintained well for the past year.

We couldn’t let our guard down. It was a relationship that would be shattered the moment the secret was revealed.

‘More than anything, that guy named Asuka is not allowed.’

Area covered people. That too a lot.

Asuka was a person who was especially outside the acceptable range. That’s probably true for most people.

“Shall we go back to the dormitory now?”

Sian proposed first. He had achieved all his goals. There was also a calculation that if Asuka and Area were kept together for a long time, they would end up fighting.

“Sure.”

Helmut agreed. He recently achieved enlightenment.

If he completes his training early in the morning, he will be able to practice for the day even if the evening is unexpectedly lost.

I had been training early in the morning again today because I thought I would be out and about.

It would be good to continue in the evening. Because there were a lot of things to do during the week.

It only took one thing. Helmut thought about the now familiar schedule.

‘Let’s go to Kudrow’s mansion tomorrow.’

I wanted to ask you about the way Black Hawk tracked you.

I should mention that he had a run-in with Black Hawk and that this made Black Hawk aware of where he was.

I wasn’t going to tell you that I murdered that person.

“Get in well!”

Upon arriving at the dormitory, Xian, who left a cheerful voice, disappeared first, and Asuka also waved her hand and showed her back.

Helmut returned to the room with Area.

Area placed the quill she had bought and a new notebook on her desk. Helmut, who was about to move straight to the training ground holding the wooden sword, suddenly stopped.

The words came out almost impulsively.

“Would you like to visit Kudrow’s mansion with me tomorrow?”

Crystal-clear purple eyes stare at him intently. The pupils soon disappeared halfway through the narrowed eyes.

“You’re not going to involve those guys this time, are you?”

“I was just telling you.”

I didn’t say that if I ran into him on the way out, Sian might try to sneak in.

It is said that there is a very high chance of encountering Xian, who seems to be watching him.

“Why me?”

“I thought Ethan would like me to introduce you.”

It was a relationship that started even before I came to Baden. Through tutoring and having a roommate, Ethan heard a lot about Area through Helmut. I was hoping to say hello at least once.

That may be true, but I felt it was difficult to pinpoint it.

I don’t think that’s all.

But it was a subtle feeling that even Helmut himself could not explain.

Area nodded after a moment.

“good.”

After hearing his approval, Helmut left the dormitory room.

Strangely, the area around my heart felt itchy. If symptoms appear intermittently like this, it is difficult to consider it a disease.

“Why are you like this?”

After thinking about it carefully, he finally realized.

‘I think this is a symptom that occurs after talking with Area.’

But why? Helmut, who thought about the reasons, came to a plausible conclusion.

Area had one thing that the other guys didn’t have. His special magical power that mesmerizes people.

I didn’t even know it was affecting me too. They say it’s more effective for women, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work for men.

‘This might be a sign.’

It was my intention to become like Area’s followers. Helmut felt alarmed.

‘Have I been neglecting my training lately and my mental power has become clouded?’

He resolved to increase his training time in the future. It was a resolution that was out of focus.
