# 89
Helmut
Episode 89
The second-year swordsmanship students gathered around Helmut had the same thought.
‘Fucked!’
The back of my head gets cold. The pretty boy with blue hair who appeared strolling around with a wooden sword was far from a threatening person at first glance.
Even a face with beautiful lines becomes gloomy if you use a grim expression on it.
But the guys here stiffened as if a monster had appeared.
“Try saying it again.”
Asuka slowly approached the person she had pointed out with the tip of her finger.
This was the guy who was nicknamed ‘Mad Dog’. Before the targeted guy could make an excuse, Asuka grabbed him by the collar like lightning.
“Oops!”
“Do you want to try making out now?”
The guy who was caught by the collar in his hand struggled with a white face as the collar was strangling his neck.
A guy who was twice Asuka’s size couldn’t shake off the touch. It is an incredible grip strength loaded with vis.
“Tell me about this! Asuka. “What are you doing!”
“This is a training ground!”
Those around him were embarrassed and stopped him. But Asuka didn’t listen.
It would be a shame to get nicknamed “mad dog” if this were to be overlooked, since they started a fight in a place where there was no instructor present.
“What are you saying after picking on my back? Do these bastards see me as water?”
Asuka was cheerful today too. Helmut thought it was like a fish out of water.
“What are you talking about, telling Helmut that it would be better for him not to hang out with me, or something like that?”
I lightly squeeze the back of the neck of a guy who is bigger than me and shake it off.
Normally, it would have been worth trying to comfort her, but Helmut, who was stronger than Asuka, was by her side.
The second-year students of the swordsmanship department did not give up easily.
“Asuka, look at what you’re doing.”
“You cum even if you hear that!”
“Are you a gangster? “You have to grab the person by the collar first.”
“Honestly, this isn’t it.”
“Should I be honest for once? “With your body.”
Asuka’s face twitched. As he let go of the collar, the released person coughed. Asuka crossed her arms and asked curiously.
“Look at these bastards. Usually I can’t even make a sound. Do you think that guy will take your side?”
Everyone’s eyes turned to Helmut. It was as if he was asking which side I would take.
Helmut had a headache. Since meeting Asuka, he has felt things he has never experienced many times.
There were times when it was interesting, but I don’t like being involved like this.
Asuka urged.
“Hey Helmut, what do you think?”
“My thoughts are that this is a training ground and a place for training.”
It is not a place to talk or fight in the first place. It seems like I found the public training center for no reason. Let alone training, I ended up looking like a judge if I stayed any longer. I had no intention of taking anyone’s side.
Helmut turned around coldly. With only one word left.
“You guys do whatever you want.”
Everyone let him go. Except for one person.
“Hey, where are you going! “What kind of answer is that!”
Why don’t you take my side, you stupid bastard? Are you scared?
Helmut, who was bothered by everyone chasing after him while shouting stars, stopped abruptly as soon as he left the training ground.
When the cold gaze returned, Asuka visibly flinched.
“Why what?”
“It’s your freedom to fight, but don’t involve me.”
“Those guys are swearing at me! Hey, actually, hanging out with those treacherous bastards won’t benefit you…”
“That’s up to me to decide. “Those guys didn’t say anything wrong either.”
“Hey, I still have to tell you not to say things like that! Are you standing still like it’s someone else’s business? “There are some pointless people swearing at my friend!”
“Since when have you and I been friends?”
It was also a difficult task for Helmut to speak in a way that could be understood by someone who only listened to criticism about him.
I’m not used to resolving things through conversation. Asuka was a difficult opponent to keep close to.
However, it feels uncomfortable to shake it off by hitting it. Those betrayed eyes.
Helmut didn’t know that it felt that way to shake off a dog that was following you.
“You owe me. “Then at least don’t bother me.”
“Are you saying I’m a nuisance to you?”
“You’re not saying this because you don’t know, right?”
“Hey Helmut!”
“It would be very inconvenient, so don’t pretend to know. Or kill your temper.”
They even gave me a choice. Helmut calmed down and spoke harshly and started walking again.
Anyway, we would meet again in class soon, but for now, I wanted to feel free.
There are about 40 minutes left until morning class. It was an awkward time to go back to the dormitory.
After much thought, Helmut decided to do as Area said.
When I went to Ethan’s instructor’s office, I was able to meet him who had just arrived at work.
“Helmut, I was still trying to find you.”
Since he is not just an instructor but his guardian, he must have heard about what happened yesterday.
Helmut had no intention of apologizing for that. Sabbat deserved the beating.
“You beat up a guy named Sabbat in Dalian yesterday?”
“He looked down on me, so I just showed him who was stronger.”
“Of course, you wouldn’t have done it for no reason.”
Ethan took it less seriously than expected.
Anyway, he won’t be in charge of the second grade this year. In fact, I didn’t even see Jerome and Sabbat’s faces turned to mush.
“Well, when you live in a swordsmanship department, there are bound to be arguments of one kind or another. There are times when you get hurt while sparring. “It looks like you got punished for getting seriously injured yesterday, so you need to know how to stop appropriately.”
“I will consider it.”
I didn’t give a definite answer. However, in the future, Helmut will also have to consider between the punishment of writing 50 pages of self-reflection or the brief joy of beating his opponent.
In the former case, training is also hindered. Askaya is a simple person who pursues immediate joy without thinking about the punishment that will follow, but she was different.
‘From now on, it might not even end with 50 chapters.’
Because punishment is severe. It would have been easier to tell him to run around the playground, but
the instructors knew that he was good at handling Asuka, Helmut, and Vis.
That’s why we’re punishing people in this way.
Ethan added.
“My advice is that you should not engage in fistfights, even if it is only in sparring. If you’re going to do it, start with at least one hit. “Because it could be self-defense.”
“They are the ones who can’t fight alone anyway.”
“That’s better. After all, you won’t lose to guys who can only win if you fight as a group.”
Many-to-one is a good excuse to beat up your opponent. Even if you get into an accident, you should avoid anything that could cause trouble.
But that wasn’t what the instructor wanted to do. If Alan or Patricia, who are mainly in charge of second grade students, had heard, they would have shouted, ‘Instructor Ethan!’
He cleared his throat and said.
“Hmm, actually, I had a bit of an accident when I was younger. Because it always happens in the swordsmanship department. “You just have to be careful not to get suspended.”
“yes.”
“On holidays, I bring some friends to the mansion. “You don’t have to get along with everyone, but you still have to get along well with your classmates.”
The latter seemed to be slowly getting easier. Helmut answered half-heartedly.
“yes.”
“And again…”
Ethan’s words continued for a long time. It seemed like he was trying to nag me since we met. I think I restrained myself a bit by taking Sian on the last holiday.
Helmut, who had been listening roughly, ran out of patience after about five minutes. He eventually decided to bring up the matter.
“Actually, I came because of the textbook.”
“Oh, you said the textbook was stolen? It is said that the culprit was caught because there was a witness. They say the textbooks have already been burned to destroy evidence.
You will receive compensation from him, but first take these textbooks. “I have prepared it.”
Ethan took out a heavy box from under the desk and placed it on the desk. Somehow, I feel like I’m doing exactly as Alea said.
‘There’s something unexpected happening at the academy.’
Doesn’t it have to be Black Hawk to be impossible to track? I never thought I would catch a locker thief. Helmut looked inside the box.
“There are two volumes each?”
“I heard your friend Asuka also had her textbooks stolen? Please tell him too. “If you were going to come, it would have been better if you had come together.”
First of all, Asuka didn’t really like being involved with instructors. If he came to the instructor’s office, it was to get scolded for causing an accident.
Aside from that, Helmut wanted to point out something.
‘I’m not friends with that guy.’
However, in everyone’s perception, Helmut and Asuka already seem to be friends.
‘I can’t help it.’
It would be convenient if Asuka’s attitude changed because of what happened earlier.
Since entering this academy, there have not been many things that have gone according to Helmut’s wishes. Helmut, holding the box, asked.
“Who was the culprit?”
“That guy, along with the two guys who guarded him, is suspended as of today. His name was Eren. It looks like he found a magic scroll to unlock the lock. “You guys are so pathetic that you use magic!”
Ethan clicked his tongue. With this, all three key members of the Sabbat gang were defeated.
If word gets out, all the other students will turn away from them. Satisfied with that fact, Helmut left a greeting.
“Then I’ll go.”
Helmut came out of the instructor’s office and measured the time. There are still about 20 minutes left.
‘Where is Asuka?’
There is no need for textbooks in morning classes. Helmut decided to deliver the textbook to Asuka and store it in his locker.
Even if he caused such a commotion, he wouldn’t remain in the public training center. No, because of his temper, he might have gone back to the public training center and started a fight.
The steps heading towards the public training center suddenly stopped. Helmut listened.
A familiar voice caught his excellent hearing. As I walked towards it, I saw two heads sitting on a bench.
Light brown and blue hair. Sian and Asuka. I felt like we had gotten closer before, and I wanted to talk about it together.
Surprisingly, the one who was talking was Asuka. Helmut approached him. The faint sound of speech became increasingly clear.
What Asuka was saying was….
“What on earth is that bastard doing that makes him so expensive?”
“Why are you so angry?”
“No, at the training center a little while ago….”
Helmut was swearing. With a perplexed face, Xian answered soullessly, ‘Ah, yes, you must have been disappointed.’
Rather, the person who listened intently to the story was the spirit of light sitting on Xian’s shoulder.
Helmut must have been dissatisfied, so he responded to Asuka’s harsh criticism with violent gestures. Helmut was dumbfounded.
“I think the friend you’re talking about is secretly criticizing his friend behind his back.”
As the cold voice struck, Asuka, who had been talking about being unlucky and pretending to be quiet for no reason to look cool, suddenly closed her mouth.
The gazes of the two, or even the three spirits of light, turned back.
“Ah Helmut.”
Xian laughed as if embarrassed. Asuka had a stinging expression.
“Isn’t it worse than remaining silent while your friend is being criticized?”
Even though I pointed it out coldly, I wasn’t particularly offended. It’s because I didn’t have much expectations about Asuka in the first place.
What was even more strange was that he didn’t rush at me with his fists clenched right after he said that.
“Are you coming from behind without making a sound?”
“Take this.”
Helmut decided to finish his errand quickly. Asuka’s eyes widened as she accepted the textbook handed to her in a haphazard manner. Helmut added briefly.
“The culprit was caught. I heard it’s Eren. “I’m suspended from school, so I won’t have anything to do for a while.”
“Did you even get this book for me?”
“Instructor Ethan gave it to me.”
In fact, Helmut had no idea how Asuka would obtain the textbook.
A big smile appeared on Asuka’s lips. No matter what Helmut said, it was an expression that she had already interpreted in her own way.
