Episode 29

Episode 18. The Sorrow of a Small Country (2)

The smuggling ship sailed smoothly toward Haseo.

Yuma and Puang were able to eat freshly caught sea fish for every meal. Other stowaways were stuck in the luggage compartment and ate only porridge of unknown origin.

Yuma arrived in Haseo after being treated with hospitality by the stowaways for several days.

In the meantime, the stowaway boss made up his mind to go back to his hometown with this last job and become a fisherman.

The place where Yuma and Puang arrived was the center of maritime trade in Haseo.

After getting off the boat, Yuma covered her face with a hood and mask and stood next to Puang.

‘Soon word will come. I don’t know why, but a certain magnate of the empire and his bodyguard stowed away here.’

Yuma whispered to Puang.

‘How do you know that?’

‘Sniffs have to talk about what they’ve been through to get their senses out.

Anyway, start acting like a tycoon. Just like on the ship.’

Like Yuma, he didn’t cover his face, but Poin was also wearing a fake beard and a rough disguise.

Pouang was in a confused mood, but nodded.

The group made cash by selling most of the valuables that Cog had brought to the market. With that money, Yuma got a special room at the finest inn in Kalam.

“You spend all your money on the first day when you can’t even save money.”

“Do not worry. They will think of us as the titans of their country.

Fish with rice cakes will approach and buy you food and alcohol.

First of all, you have to stay in a place like this to live up to it.”

“Okay, let’s say that. What next?”

“We have to harass the fish that came to us until it takes a big bite. Until the tycoon of Kalam heard the news and came.”

“Is there any better, gentler way?”

“When you do shit, you have to do it dirty.”

Hearing a rumor that ‘an unknown tycoon from the empire stowed away’, he provokes the people who visit him. Then scare them into bringing in the real mogul.

Hearing the news, the real tycoon of Haseo-guk comes to visit.

Yuma had a rough idea of who would come to Kalam if he did something wrong.

“It’s not as good as our mansion, but it’s pretty nice here.”

Yuma looked around the inside of the special room and said. Yuma had a clerk prepare the bath water.

“Let’s wash up and put on our disguise again. By evening, the baited fish will come.”

After taking a bath, Yuma changed the shape of Puang’s hair and put the beard back on.

Indeed, when evening came, the inn clerk found the room where Yuma was staying and delivered a note.

“hmm. The first customer seems to be an ordinary merchant. Let’s go.

From now on Pouang’s name is Conne Dean. My name would be Bamol.”

Yuma and Puang went to the address written on the note.

“Be very arrogant, very very arrogant. We’re the big bad guys. You know?”

The party arrived at a high-class restaurant in Kalam. Yuma and Puang were guided by the clerk into a special room located deep in the dining room.

“Oh thanks for looking.

I am Omir the Merchant.”

The body and face resembled a pig, and it was a face reminiscent of a typical evil merchant.

Poin was at a loss as to how to carry out Yuma’s order to be arrogant.

“It’s Cornedine. You are the first merchant to call me by ordering the children to come without looking for me in person.”

When Puang said, Yuma laughed inwardly. Now Poin was getting used to Yuma’s style.

Omir frowned.

“Why are you dissatisfied, piglet?

Make a disgusting impression.”

Puang said, recalling Yuma’s remark that ‘the shit should be dirty’.

The bodyguards standing behind Omir frowned and took one step forward.

“Wow. Neither the owner nor the bodyguards are cheap. Bamol, teach those friends what manners are.”

Yuma was sure that Poin was secretly enjoying the situation.

This was the image of a successful merchant that Poin wanted.

In fact, Puang, the target before returning, was always accompanied by a taciturn and skillful escort.

Omir’s bodyguards drew their swords and cursed.

Yuma picked up two chopsticks from the table and threw them at the bodyguards.

Chopsticks stuck into the bodyguards’ shoulders.

“Ah!”

Then, Yuma stepped on the table, jumped up, and hit the bodyguards’ jaws with a round kick.

Standing on top of the fallen bodyguards, Yuma pressed Omir’s head to the table.

“Can you speak straight to my master now?”

“Kuheugh!”

“It’s troublesome if you keep talking like a pig.”

Yuma raised her hand and placed Omir’s index finger on the back of her hand.

“Keep it off!”

The clerk of the restaurant who heard the scream ran to the special room.

The clerk, who opened the sliding door, could not close his mouth when he saw the interior of the special room.

“Go and do what you do. Don’t bother here.”

Puang took out some of Haseo’s money from his inside pocket and threw it at the clerk.

The clerk hurriedly closed the door and went back.

“Can you speak clearly?”

“Of course.”

Yuma released Omir.

Omir was drooling and breathing heavily.

“This was a complete asshole.

Hey, you go out and bring me back as the best friend on this floor. Tell them that Cornedin from the Kyle Empire has come to make a deal.”

Puang looked down at Omir and said. Yuma gave a thumbs up to Poin from behind Omir.

Omir hurriedly ran out of the suite.

“Are you good? Isn’t Puang-sama the original evil party?”

“I am also surprised.”

Poin scratched his head as if he was embarrassed. It wasn’t a bad feeling.

After watching Yuma fight a few times, he was convinced that no matter how mean he was, he wouldn’t die.

Yuma and Puang waited for their next opponent while eating the delicacies on the table.

“Kalam dishes are also worth eating.”

“This stir-fried seafood dish is excellent. I’ve been here a couple of times for business.”

The bodyguards abandoned by Omir under the table often woke up from fainting. Yuma used his feet every time to knock them out again.

Several people’s footsteps were heard from outside the room.

Yuma and Puang ate and greeted the next guest.

“I’m a bastard. Are you guys from the Empire who advertise?”

The owner of the voice was a woman with a sharp impression reminiscent of a beautiful leopard. She was wearing a tight-fitting traditional Haseo-guk dress.

As the woman entered, the escorts followed, who at first glance seemed far away from the pyramids.

The woman bit into a long, thin pipe and sat down, exhaling smoke.

When the legs were crossed, the woman’s thighs were exposed. She was a woman with an unusual aura.

Poin deliberately raised his head, not to show his intimidation.

Yuma stood up, put her hands behind her back, and snuggled right next to Poin.

“Did you say Cornedine? It’s the first name I’ve heard. I am Natalie.”

“Natalie? It’s the first name I’ve ever heard of.”

“Is this your first time hearing my name? You don’t know this floor well, but you see, your information skills are terrible. Don’t be pretentious. Your voice is shaking.”

Poin turned his head and looked at Yuma. It was to ask with a wink if you knew Natalie.

Yuma knew her. Natalie, the wicked woman who rules the underworld of Ha Seoguk.

I remembered hearing stories about her often when I was a eunuch. It is said that it is difficult to find a person in the leadership of Haseoguk who is not related to her.

‘I came to the right place.’

Yuma thought and nodded.

Natalie continued to suck on her pipe and let out smoke. Dense smoke clouded the interior of the special room.

“Are those idiots on the floor Omir’s bodyguards?”

“Yes.”

Yuma answered on behalf of Puang.

“The escort warriors are said to be quite talented, but it seems like a beast that knows how to hold weights. I’m disappointed. Why don’t you do it like you did with Omir? The owner is bluff, the bodyguard is bluff. In any case, you should know about the bluffs of the men of the Empire.”

Yuma didn’t answer and met Natalie’s eyes.

Natalie looked at Yuma and smiled. Her lips, painted red, glistened.

‘He’s a master level player. The aura I feel is considerable. It seems the same goes for the escorts on both sides.’

Yuma looked at Natalie and thought. When I was a eunuch, it was always a new feeling to see in person a person I had only heard about in stories.

“So you want to make a deal?”

Natalie asked. The strong pipe smoke made Poin cough.

“exactly.”

Puang replied.

“What kind of deal do you want to make, so you want to do something rude like this in someone else’s land?”

Natalie looked down on Poin as if she were not the same.

Poin looked at Yuma. I didn’t know what the deal was, so I meant to talk about it instead.

“Not too long ago, Haseoguk’s friends ate our money and just washed their mouths. I’d like you to accept some of the money I took away.”

Natalie shook her head and sighed. It was because it was absurd to talk like he was treating himself like some kind of back alley barber.

“It’s stolen money… what are you doing?”

“Conedin of the Conedin Merchant.”

“Tell me straight up if you want to go out alive tonight.”

“Don’t call me Cornedine.”

“I didn’t ask you, but your bodyguard. Get that funny beard off. Did you say that was a disguise?”

Natalie knew that the powerhouse of the party was not a soft-looking man named Cornedine, but a masked man disguised as a bodyguard.

Pouang couldn’t even answer, he just opened his mouth.

“It wasn’t enough to wear a mask, and even set up a puppet. You are very careful.”

“Get rid of that pipe. My master is uncomfortable.”

“You seem pretty immersed in role play. Is that your taste?”

Natalie said, pointing the pipe at Yuma’s lower body.

In an instant, Yuma cut off Ascalon and cut off Natalie’s pipe.

“Oh.”

I burst out laughing as if I was dumbfounded, but Natalie was very embarrassed.

Since he knocked out Omir’s bodyguard in an instant, it was expected that he was a skilled man to some extent.

However, the speed of the sword that the master himself couldn’t even react to.

No matter how careless I was, it was difficult to understand. If he had aimed at the neck, not the pipe, he would have died.

Belatedly, the bodyguards drew their swords, but Natalie raised her hand to stop them.

“Villain Natalie. I heard that she is a woman with a pulpit, but all she does is paralysis poisoning. It looks like poison from the coach pool. It is not uncommon for Haseo-guk to have a coach with high purity.”

Yuma lifted up the half of the pipe that had fallen to the ground and sniffed it.

“Isn’t the method of pretending to be a cigarette too obvious? You should know that the girls of Haseoguk are cheating.”

It was Yuma’s provocation that returned the imperial men’s bluff luck.

“Bamal Nuim Dougi? Uh uh uh.”

Poin, whose effect of the paralysis poison had started, muttered to Yuma before banging his head on the table and flinching.

“But what about this? I’m not easily poisoned.”

-Your veins and heart are not very different from those of a dragon.

Yuma remembered what his teacher had told him on the plains of Yonir.

Common poisons against dragons and ogres had little effect. The degree of extreme poison of the demon realm could cause fatal harm.

“You’d better get the antidote quickly for my master. If you want to make a deal with me, not a fight.”

Yuma leaned towards Natalie and said.
